ProfileYabing Hooda is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Silicon Valley market in Global Banking & Markets at Bank of America. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Yabing’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing eight years of experience, Yabing joined Bank of America Global Banking & Markets in 2019. Prior to Bank of America she began her banking career at Wells Fargo Bank and most recently Wells Fargo Bank Commercial Banking in the San Jose market. Throughout her banking career, Yabing has served mid-sized companies throughout the San Francisco bay area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Yabing volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on education, parenting and promoting yoga philosophy, and most recently with NFTE-Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship. In addition, she is actively involved in the planning committee for Bay Area Mom’s Club for Chinese American Community. She also serves on the steering committee for the CFO Leadership Council – Silicon Valley Chapter and is inspired to support the community.
Originally from Shenzhen China, Yabing graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and minored in Business from Shenzhen University. She also holds an MBA Degree with a Finance Concentration from Santa Clara University- Leavey School of Business. She resides in San Jose. Yabing is an avid traveler and also a certified 500 Master Level Yoga Instructor. In her free time, Yabing likes to play piano, practice Yoga, swim, travel and scuba diving.
