Ward McCamy is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Bank of America business banking team, with his office is located in Gainesville, Ga.  Ward covers the Gainesville and Athens markets primarily, as well as the surrounding Northeast Georgia area in Commercial Banking at Bank of America.   In this capacity his responsibilities include helping provide solutions for each client’s unique commercial lending needs, as well as leading a team of specialists to help deliver strategic financial tools and guidance for a company's operating cycle, as well as succession planning for business owners.

Ward joined the Georgia business banking team with Bank of America in April of 2018, and brings a wide variety of banking experience including consumer lending, mortgage lending, investment real estate lending, as well as commercial lending during the span of his career.  The last 17 years of his career has been focused in commercial lending including ten years with Wells Fargo, and the last seven years with Bank of America.  Ward has served mid sized companies ranging from around twenty million in revenues on the low side, to one hundred million plus in revenues on the high side. The territory he covers for the bank ranges from Gainesville to Athens, as well surrounding counties including Gwinnett County.  Ward is a two time recipient of the bank's annual Pinnacle Award for top producing bankers.

Ward has served in various non profit leadership roles including the Board Chairman for Young Life of Hall County, North Hall Community Education Foundation, and the Lanierland Auburn Alumni Club.  Ward helps support his wife Lindsey's local nonprofit that she founded in 2012 called Family Promise of Hall County, where his wife also serves as the local Executive Director.  Family Promise empowers local families and their children who are experiencing homelessness for a season of their life to achieve sustainable independence by providing wrap-around services. Ward just finished board five year terms serving with the local Hall County Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Northeast Georgia Medical Clinic Foundation board.  He has recently joined the local board Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier in January of 2025, which serves school aged kids in Hall, Forsyth, and Habersham County.

Ward graduated with a bachelor of sciences degree from the Auburn University business school.  His wife Lindsey graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Landscape Architecture.  Ward grew up working in a manufacturing family, with his father Bucky being one of the original manufacturing pioneers in the artificial turf industry located in Dalton, Ga.  Ward and his wife Lindsey have three kids including a recent college graduate Carter, who will start his career with Pepsi in the summer of 2024. Kate will graduate college in the Fall of 2024, and pursue a degree as an anesthesiology assistant. Charlie is in his second year of high school.
