What is Victor most passionate about?

His Family: Victor’s family is a part of the American Dream. His parents sacrificed everything and came to the United States from Mexico to raise a family in the land of opportunities. After opening the first Mexican restaurant in Salem, OR in 1972, Mexican food was a success!  However, the success was not measured monetarily, but more in the value of his parents having the ability of always keeping food on the table and ultimately sending their children to higher education. Victor received his degree in Batchelor of Arts and played for the University of Oregon’s Men’s Soccer team as Captain. Today, he recognizes those sacrifices and now he pays it forward with being an advisory advocate for his parent’s business with his Business Administration degree. Victor’s unique experiences and insights has helped the business improve operational efficiency, remove barriers and streamline processes through digital solutions.  Victor currently resides in Portland, OR with his family and loves volunteering, food carts, snowboarding, camping, exploring nature with his wife, son and black Labrador retriever Lucy.

What Victor enjoys most about his role as Commercial Associate?

The People: Victor joined Bank of America and held various roles from a SR. Relationship Banker to a Financial Center Manager prior to his current role as a Commercial Associate. Victor brings the discipline and determination to his professional life, working with clients to strategize and find solutions no matter how simple or complex the challenge. He’s energized by watching businesses thrive as the result of ideas and solutions his team provides. With over 16yrs of banking experience, he is excellent in navigating the bank for his clients and associates a like. His team knows he is a key resource for them, leveraging video production, incredibly insightful tools and resources at his fingertips by tapping into the bank’s vast internal network that he worked hard to cultivate over the years.
