Profile

Sunny is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Greater Washington DC Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Sunny's mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or complex.

Before Sunny re-joined Bank of America in 2019 as a Senior Relationship Manager in Global Commercial Banking with over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, she began her career as a teller at a local BofA Financial Center in Los Angeles, CA. From there, she expanded her clientele from individual customers in the mass market to wealthy individuals, to small businesses, and to both mid-sized companies and not-for-profit organizations. She has increased her duties of being a trusted advisor to her clients across Virginia, Maryland, and DC areas since her moving to the East Coast in 2009.

To support the company’s core values and culture as a global leader, Sunny volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations including KEEN Greater DC (for teens with autism) and HOLA Greater DC / LEDC Empowered Woman International Mentor (on as-needed basis). Within the enterprise, she serves as a co-champion for The Greater Washington DC Market D&I Council, a committee member of Greater DC LEAD for Women Leadership(LEAD) Council, and a member of both Asian Leadership Network (ALN) and Disability Action Network(DAN).

Sunny graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. She resides in Fairfax, VA and enjoys playing musical instruments and walks with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi in nearby landmarks like Washington Monument or Georgetown at her leisure time.
