Sofía Nicot is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region in Global Commercial Bank at Bank of America. In this capacity, she is responsible for delivering strategic financial guidance and solutions to commercial clients with the goal of helping them thrive and achieve their business goals. Bringing 20 years of experience in the financial service industry, Sofía joined Bank of America in 2004.To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Sofía volunteers with several organizations focused on mentorship and financial literacy, most recently leading an initiative called Better Money Habits for not-for-profits in the Philadelphia area. In addition, she supports the Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since 2021 and in 2022, joined the board of Elizabethtown College, focused on the International Business program. Lastly, she is the East Coast Market Regional Chair for the bank’s Hispanic/Latino Employee Network.
Originally from Chile, Sofía graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Elizabethtown College. She studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, and later received an MBA degree from St. Joseph’s University. In 2022 she received the Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever award from the National Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility (HACR) and was also recently recognized as “Philadelphia 40 Under 40” by the City & State of Pennsylvania. She currently resides in the Philadelphia area with her family.
