ProfileSharif Elkhaldy is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the LA Metro Business Banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include developing and maintaining business relationships in and around the Los Angeles marketplace, focusing on privately-held companies with annual revenues from $5 million to $50 million. These industries and businesses include wholesalers, manufacturers, importers/exporters, professional services, medical, entertainment, and non-profit organizations. Sharif leads, directs and coordinates a team of key partners in providing Credit, Risk, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Equipment Leasing solutions. The team’s mission is to manage, prospect and acquire important revenue-generating client relationships for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Sharif joined Bank of America in 2006, where he has held a variety of positions. His prior roles have included Associate Enterprise Business Specialist, Small Business Banking Client Manager & HELOC Sales & Service Officer. Sharif also serves on the Bank’s Central Los Angeles Council. In this capacity, Sharif helps with the coordination of the marketing, business integration, associate connectivity, brand visibility and community development activities for Bank of America’s various lines of business within the geographical territory.
Active in the business community, Sharif has served with multiple not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area. He currently serves on the Young Professional Board of Covenant House Los Angeles with a mission to help fundraise, volunteer and mentor at-risk homeless youth living on the streets.
Born and raised in Southern California, Sharif graduated from the University of La Verne, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Sharif’s hobbies include basketball, traveling and hiking. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
