Shaniba Ambalappurath is a Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager for the City Of Industry market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Shaniba’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex. 

Bringing 22 plus years of experience, Shaniba joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006. She has also served as Senior Credit Officer and Senior Underwriter roles with BofA. She began her banking career at Mashreq Bank, Dubai, and UAE where she served as relationship manager in Dubai, throughout her banking career, Shaniba has served mid-sized companies throughout the Inland Empire/City of Industry area to support their commercial banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Shaniba volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on ending hunger and homelessness, most recently with LA Family housing Corporation, Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith community and  Los Angeles regional food banks. She also served as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a member in the peer review team.  In addition, she also served on the associate leadership council.

Shaniba graduated with MBA in major corporate finance. She resides in Claremont, CA.
