Sarah Dorgan is a Senior Relationship Manager for the San Antonio market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Sarah’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing over 20 years of experience, Sarah joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2014. She began her banking career at AmSouth Bank as a trainee in the Management Associate Program where she was trained in different areas including retail, operations, trust, investment, and commercial banking, prior to graduating into the formal Credit Training Program of the Bank. Throughout her career, Sarah served mid- and large-sized companies as a Financial Analyst, Assistant Relationship Manager, and Corporate Relationship Manager to support their commercial banking needs.

She is active in the community serving as President of the Board of Directors of San Antonio Pets Alive! [SAPA!], and having served as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Brighton Center, Chairperson of the Finance Committee for Brighton Center, the Executive Committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2009 Light the Night Walk, and the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research’s Founders Council. She is also a graduate of the Leadership San Antonio class 31.

Sarah is passionate about her work as a mentor for high school students in the InspireU Academy through Communities in Schools. She also serves as a coach for teammates at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Relationship Management Development Program, and is a member of the Bank's Southwest Region Executive Council. 

Originally from Brazil, Sarah is fluent in Portuguese, and is a graduate from Florida State University with degrees in Finance and Multinational Business Operations. She currently resides in San Antonio, TX.
