Sam Ghannam is a Vice President and Sr. Relationship Manager for the Greater Michigan market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Sam’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or complex.

Bringing 18 years of experience, Sam joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2010. He began his banking career at Old Kent Bank as a Branch Manager in Lansing market area. Throughout his banking career, Sam has served mid-sized companies throughout the Central Michigan area to support their commercial banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Sam volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on supporting high risk youths with mentors in their life. Most recently as a board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a member and leader in the Midwest Executive Counsel. In addition, he also serves on the Better Money Habits team within Bank of America, which provides straight forward and helpful guidance in all aspects of money management. 

Originally from Lansing, MI, Sam graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University. He resides in Okemos, MI.
