Safiya Stewart is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Los Angeles Coastal market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Safiya’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing 11 years of experience, Safiya joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2011. She has also served in numerous roles within the company. Throughout her banking career, Safiya has served mid-sized companies throughout the Los Angeles area to support their commercial banking needs.

Safiya is a Los Angeles native, and in her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, and volunteering within the community.
