Peter B. Surdam is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Boston/Metrowest market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Peter’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.Bringing 46 years of experience, Peter joined The First National Bank of Boston, a predecessor bank to Bank of America in 1971. He began his career in the Banking Centers serving business clients as a Client Manger before moving into the Commercial Real Estate Division assisting clients with commercial properties. Throughout his banking career, Peter has served mid-sized companies throughout the Boston area to support their commercial banking needs.
In addition, Peter serves on the Board of New England Business Association a private not-for-profit association of approximately 600 member companies located throughout the six state region. New England Business Association’s mission is to provide a legislative voice for businesses and to make practical information available to help business owners grow their companies.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business from Nasson College. Peter also received a Graduate Degree from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He resides in Manchester, Massachusetts.
