Neil Ruiz is a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager for the SW Florida market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Neil's mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.Bringing 29 years of experience, Neil joined Bank of America in 2024. He has also served on the market management team, retail bank leadership, and premier banking. He began his banking career at Summit Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager in Newark, New Jersey. Throughout his banking career, Neil has served mid-sized companies throughout the Pinellas County Market area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Neil volunteers with not-for-profit organizations focused on children's education. He also serves as a board member at the Intercultural Advocacy Center. In addition, he also volunteers with the downtown Clearwater Development Board. Originally from Cuba, Neil graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Iowa University. He resides in Palm Harbor, Fl.
