Profile
Mo is a Senior Relationship Manager on Bank of America’s Business Bank, acting as an advocate and primary banking contact for his clients. In his role, Mo advises clients, helps them navigate the bank and delivers a full spectrum of banking, treasury, credit and other financial solutions.Mo joined Bank of America in 2021 and worked at J.P. Morgan Chase prior to that. He has worked in the financial industry for the past 12 years. Prior to his current role, Mo worked in the Healthcare, Higher Education & Not-For-Profit banking group of the commercial bank for 8 years and in the Private Bank for 3 years prior.
Mo has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Baruch College in New York and is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
Passionate about nonprofit organizations and community involvement, Mo has been part of multiple youth mentorship programs through organizations such as Brotherhood Crusade, to provide mentoring and financial education. He also serves on the board of ESMoA Museum and West Angeles Community Development Center. Mo holds leadership positions in various employee groups at the bank, which make impact in the community, such as Black Executive Leadership Team (BELT) and Toastmasters. He is also a Better Money Habits Champion. Having recently moved to Atlanta, November, 2023, Mo looks forward to getting involved in the community.
Originally from Senegal, West Africa, Mo moved to the US in 2001 and lived in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and now, Atlanta; he speaks French and Wolof (Native language in Senegal). Mo currently lives in Lawrenceville with his wife, Sira, and daughter, Ami Issa. He enjoys fitness, traveling and discovering great restaurants.
