Michael Vanek is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Phoenix Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Mike’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.Bringing 17 years of experience, Mike joined Bank of America in 2018. He has also served as Vice President and Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo and as a Corporate Banker for MidFirst Bank and Great Western Bank. He began his banking career at Chase Bank in Scottsdale, AZ. Throughout his banking career, Mike has served mid-sized companies throughout the Phoenix area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Mike volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on the humane treatment of animals. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a member and leader in the Business Banking Group.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Mike graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from North Central College in Naperville, IL. He now resides in Gilbert, AZ.
