ProfileMichael Parrish is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the North Texas market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Michael’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing over 13 years of experience, Michael joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2007. He has also served as a Treasury Officer in the Large Corporate Energy & Power group. He began his banking career at Wells Fargo in in Fort Worth, TX. Throughout his banking career, Michael has served companies in the North Texas area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Michael volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on education, health & child development most recently as a Board member for the WhiteRock YMCA. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Chair of the North Texas Future Leaders Alumni Employee Network. In addition, he also serves on the boards of the DFW CFO Leadership Council and the North Texas Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Michael graduated from Texas A&M University and earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is currently enrolled at the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Seattle; working on his Masters in the Business of Banking. Michael also holds the distinguished Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
