Profile

Michael Cappelli is the Business Banking Market Executive covering the Westchester, Rockland and Bronx markets.  In this role he leads a team of highly skilled client facing Relationship Managers serving the business needs of companies with revenues of $5 million to $50 million.
 
These relationship teams are trusted advisors delivering integrated financial advice and solutions – including credit, treasury management, merchant services, trade finance, foreign exchange and equipment financing.  These team work closely with their Global Wealth Management partners who deliver corporate retirement solutions and personal wealth management strategies to these businesses and their teams.

Prior to leading this team, Cappelli was a Senior Relationship Manager where he achieved numerous accommodation of Excellence awards.

Before joining Bank of America, Cappelli worked at GE Capital as a VP, Business Development Officer responsible for originating credit facilities up to $100 million.  He is Six Sigma trained with a Green Belt Certification.
 
Earlier in his career he worked at Merrill Lynch and Security Pacific, an acquired company now known as Bank of America Business Lending.

Cappelli graduated with a BS from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.

He is a board member of The Westchester Bankers Association, Bronxville’s Helen Keller’s Lion Club and Past President of Care & Share:  a non-profit organization in NYC.

Cappelli lives in Rye Brook, NY with his wife, Alicia and his 2 daughters, Amanda and Danielle.  He enjoys skiing, raising his children, reading, biking, volunteering and golfing.
