Profile

Michael Borello is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Long Island Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Michael’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing over 25 years of experience, Michael joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2012.  He has also served as a Small Business Market Manager for both Chase bank and here at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He started his career at Chase Bank where he served as a Small Business Banker and Commercial Banker here on Long Island.  Throughout his career, Michael has served mid-size companies throughout Long Island to support their short term and long term commercial banking needs.

Michael strives to create a sustainable future for the communities and companies he serves.  Michael volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on hunger insecurity and home ownership, most recently working with Long Island Cares and Habit for Humanity.

Originally from the Long Island’s South Shore, Michael graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS, and resides in West Islip, NY with his wife and three children.
