Profile

Tony Guminski is a Vice President, Relationship Manager in Business Banking, for Bank of America in San Diego CA.  In this capacity his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions.  Tony’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals no matter how simple or how complex they might be.  His partnership, guidance in finding solutions, and his ability to connect experts in every area of business will streamline your business banking needs.  Tony is active with Bank of America’s philanthropic efforts.  He is the co-Chair of the Military Support and Assistance Group, which focuses on the local military and veteran community.

Tony has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1993, he started his business banking career in merchant credit card processing.  Tony started with Bank of America in merchant services in 2008.  Once Bank of America started the Small Business Banker program 2012, Tony applied and accepted a position as a small business banker.  In Small Business Banking, he worked with clients with revenues between $250,000 and $5,000,000.  In June of 2022, Tony was promoted to Business Banking where he works with clients with revenues of $5,000,000.00-$50,000,000.00.  2023 marks Tony’s 15th year with Bank of America. 

Tony has been happily married to his wife, Melissa for over 24 years and they have two amazing children, Sam and Natalie, and they have a German shepherd named Bruno.  Tony is a proud veteran of the United States Army. During his Army career, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division for four years.  Tony earned many awards and commendations to include the Expert Infantry Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne wings with a combat jump star, Ranger Tab, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, et al.  Upon being honorably discharged, Tony moved to San Diego California in 1990.  Tony has a bachelor’s degree and MBA from National University in La Jolla, CA.
