ProfileMicah Canestaro is a Senior Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager for the Bay Area market, introducing business and commercial banking capabilities at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities consist of working with a Team of specialists to deliver strategic financial solutions to help local companies grow, improve cash flow and invest for the future.
Micah has spent his entire career with Bank of America, joining the company in 2006. His primary office is located in Oakland, but the bulk of his time is spent visiting his clients and prospective clients to better understand their business objectives and needs. In his current role he serves as the primary point of contact for the client for Bank of America Corporation, working with an extended team of specialists in the delivery of strategic, integrated financial solutions and guidance to locally headquartered businesses. This includes prospecting new business as well as retaining and deepening existing relationships. Over the years he has consistently proven to be an advocate for his clients, while leveraging his unique expertise and experience in the financial industry. Given his time with Bank of America; he is highly effective at navigating and delivering the enterprise wholistically to businesses and individuals.
Active in the community, Micah volunteers with various not-for-profit groups in the Bay Area, including Alameda Food Bank & spends much of his time at Acalanes High School as a mentor and Wrestling Coach.
Micah grew up in a suburb outside of Boston. He graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Corporate Communications. He currently resides in Walnut Creek with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work he enjoys exercising outdoors (running, skiing, biking etc) and spending quality time with family and friends.
