ProfileMeredith Young is a Relationship Manager for the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Meredith’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex. Business owners have so many priorities constantly tugging at their time. With her inquisitive nature, she takes a holistic view of your business leading to effective strategies, efficiencies and better solutions. She serves as an advocate for the relationship with the Bank and as a trusted advisor.
Meredith joined Bank of America in 2012 serving in Home Equity for residential clients. Her most recent 6 years have been in Commercial Credit for business banking and middle market clients with revenues of $5 million and $3 billion thus utilizing her financial acumen in areas of corporate financing, mergers & acquisitions, leverage finance, and business development. Throughout her banking career, Meredith has served mid-sized and large companies within New England to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Meredith volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on workforce development, women and family support, domestic violence prevention, financial education, the arts and affordable housing. She also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America as a co-leader in the Bank of America Women’s Exchange, and is a member of the Global Banking & Markets Women’s leadership, Power of 10, LEAD, Women Innovating Now (WIN) and HYPE.
Originally from Idaho, Meredith has also lived in UT, TX, NE and NJ before settling in CT in 2010. Meredith graduated with a B.S. with honors in Business Administration and Finance. She resides in Avon, Connecticut with her three daughters, two dogs and a rabbit.
