Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Melissa has a passion for serving her local community and empowering others. She volunteers at several not-for-profit organizations including Salt of the Earth and PAWS. Melissa also serves on the Membership Comittee for the Disability Advocacy Network. Melissa obtained her Baccalaureate from the University of Washington and was a Dean's List recipient. She later earned her Master's in Business Finance with Ashford University graduating with Honors.
