Mike is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Oregon/Idaho market for Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include working with a team focused on delivering strategic financial guidance and solutions throughout the Portland Metro marketplace. The team’s mission is to help local companies grow, improve cash flow, manage U.S. and international payments, and invest for the future. The team fulfills this mission by focusing on credit and lending, deposits, and cash management solutions to privately-held companies with annual revenues from $5 million to $50 million. Targeted industries and businesses include wholesalers, manufacturers, importers/exporters, professional services, medical, entertainment, and non-profit organizations, to name a few.

Bringing 36 years of experience, Mike joined Bank of America in 2019. Mike began his career in banking in 1983 with US Bank where he held various roles during his 30 year tenure with the company. Following his time with US Bank, Mike moved on to Umpqua Bank where he served for 6 years as a Commercial Relationship Manager focused on managing and growing a credit portfolio while guiding clients and prospects on credit capacity, loan facilities, and debt structures. Throughout his career, Mike has served mid-sized to large commercial businesses based primarily in the Portland Metro area. 

Active in the community, Mike enjoys volunteering his time with various not-for-profit organizations focused on improving high school graduation rates in Oregon. Mike currently serves as a board member for In4All. 

 

Mike grew up in the Lake Oswego area of Oregon, which is also where he continues to reside today. He attended Portland State University and he majored in Political Science.
