Matt Agresti is a Senior Vice President and a Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking at Bank of America.  In this role, he leads and quarterbacks a team of product and service specialists in the DMV area to deliver strategic financial advice and solutions to help local companies and national organizations to grow, lend, improve cash flow, manage U.S. and international payments, and invest for the future.   He brings a level of consistent service and advice to his clients having served with the bank since 1989, and in his current role since 1996.

  • Agresti is responsible for managing and directing a client’s commercial banking relationship with the bank
  • Active participant in the relationships that he fosters, meeting with his clients on a quarterly basis that provides feedback and advise on how to grow his client’s bottom line and effectively leverage the bank’s services and product lines.
  • Matt’s conducts both an annual relationship review and mid-year review that focuses on the client’s organizational success and strives to be a “pro-active” banking consultant where warranted.
  • He is the recipient of the bank’s top award for Commercial Bankers 7 times (Award of Excellence – Top 5%) for bankers in the United States.  
 
Prior to joining Bank of America, Agresti served with the United States Air Force out of college.    He was active duty for one year and served his last seven years in the reserves.   He joined the bank in 1989.   He became a commercial banker in 1996 in Tampa, FL and has been in his role since that time, transferring to the Washington, DC region in 1998.   
  • Agresti has B.A. in International Studies from the University of South Florida.
  • Earned his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force in 1988.   He served 8 years (7 with USAF Reserves), and retired from the service at MacDill AFB in the summer of 1996.
 
Active in the community, Agresti currently serves as the Past Co-Chairman on the Board of Directors for SECAF (Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum).   He currently Co-Chair of the Nomination Committee and an active participant of the Membership Committee.   He has been a member of this government contracting organization for 9 years.

He is a member of the Leadership Greater Washington (Class of 2017) and the bank’s Military Support and Assistant Group.    He continues to volunteer his time with the Fisher House Foundation and TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors).    He was a Big Brother for 7 years with the Greater Tampa Bay Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. He also served on various committees with the Outback  Bowl from 1990 to 1998 while in Tampa, FL.
 
Matt is currently serving as a mentor for a veteran owned government contracting small business owner in Virginia through the American Corporate Partners affiliation with Bank of America.
 
Matt lives in Haymarket, VA with his wife, 3 children and a Golden Retriever (Marvel).
