Originally from Huntsville, Matt moved to Baldwin County Alabama in 2005 after completing his MBA at Alabama. Matt worked for Wachovia and, post-merger, Wells Fargo in the Gulf Coast for 13 years and helped open the Commercial Banking office in New Orleans, LA for Wells Fargo. 

Matt joined BofA in 2016. Before becoming a Sr. Relationship Manager in 2022, Matt spent 15 years as Middle Market Treasury Sales Officer. With his unique understanding of how companies can leverage technology in their cash conversion cycle, coupled with years of Middle Market banking experience, Matt is unique among other bankers on the Gulf Coast. 

Over the span of his career, Matt has worked with a range of companies in the Gulf Coast region, from small business to publicly traded. Matt has worked extensively with US subs of foreign parents, asset companies of private equity groups, and manufacturing firms across a variety of industries. Matt actively engages with BofA’s Investment Bank, and he has experience with both debt and equity capital market transactions. Matt grew up in a Government Contracting/Defense family. Matt’s industry expertise is in GovCon, Shipbuilding/Maritime, Healthcare/Healthcare IT, Manufacturing, Metals and Mining, and Technology. 

Matt lives in Fairhope, AL with his wife and three children who attend Bayside Academy.
