ProfileMark Dodson is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the South Bay/Long Beach markets in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Mark’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing nine years of commercial real estate and banking experience, Mark arrived at Bank of America in 2019 and has been a top performer on the LA South Bay team and in the Pacific Southwest Market ever since. He has been a member of the PSW Leadership Council, IGEN Business Enterprise team, and an HOLA Mentor, as well as serving as the team’s Digital Ambassador and Client Acquisition Champion.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Mark was a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager and Business Development Officer at Wells Fargo. He previously spent four years as Vice President at NorthMarq Capital, a privately-held commercial real estate lender and brokerage firm in Newport Beach. Throughout his career, Mark has served mid-sized companies throughout the Greater Los Angeles area to support their commercial banking needs. In addition, he sits on the board of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and is their International Business Alliance President. He is also involved with the Loyola Marymount University Real Estate Alumni Group, the Long Beach Commercial Real Estate Council, and the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Young Physicians and Professionals Alliance.
Originally from London, England, Mark holds a dual MBA in Finance and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University, a Master’s in Education from University of Redlands, and a Bachelor of Sciences from Ithaca College. He resides in Long Beach.
