Profile

Marcela Chesson is a Relationship Manager for the Greater Rhode Island Market in the Business Banking group at Bank of America. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of experts focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. She takes a client-centric approach, examining what business owners need to accomplish and how her team can help make that happen. She believes that each business has its own unique story, and consequently require solutions tailored to its individual path to success. To make sure this happens, Marcela actively listens to clients to become their trusted advisor, engaging with their needs and forming long-term relationships.

Marcela brings 21 years of banking experience working with Business Owners, C-Suite Executives and High Net Worth individuals. Through her extensive career with Bank of America, Marcela has held positions in the Consumer Bank,  Service and Fulfillment and Global Transaction Services group. She began her career in the financial centers and quickly learned that she had a passion for connecting individuals and businesses with the proper resources. Working with both individuals and mid-sized companies, Marcela brings the power of Bank of America to each and every client connection.

Marcela takes pride in how the bank helps local businesses and communities, and is always looking for ways to amplify this success. Her own work in the community is part of this drive, and she volunteers for a number of charities, including those targeting children and youth. Her love of learning new things extends into her spare time, and she enjoys traveling with her family and exploring different cultures.
