Lupe Mireles is a SVP and Senior Relationship Manager for the South Texas market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Lupe’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing 25+ years of experience, Lupe joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2007.  She began her banking career at Texas Commerce Bank (now Chase) where her was most recent job title was Franchise Specialist for the majority of the US. Throughout her banking career, Lupe has served mid-sized companies throughout the US to support their commercial banking needs. 

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Lupe volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on ending hunger and homelessness, most recently with Feeding America and local food banks. She also Chairs HOLA Houston, an internal Employee Network with a mission to create a forum where Hispanic/Latino employees engage, mentor and support one another, cultivate professional leadership development, and support Bank of America to attract, retain and develop Hispanic/Latino employees.  She also serves as Co-Chair for the Bank of America Houston Hispanic Business Council.  The focus of the Council is to better connect with the Houston area’s substantial Hispanic community, Bank of America established a Hispanic Business Council, a group of lines of business leaders focused on representing the bank and developing business relationships in the Hispanic market.  The Council represents the bank at key Hispanic civic and business events and connects regularly with key Hispanic community leaders.  This collaboration is part of the market’s overall focus on Delivering One Company to our clients and communities that Bank of America serves throughout Greater Houston.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Lupe attended the University of Houston. She is married and has a son and a daughter.
