ProfileKeith VanderWeele is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the West Michigan market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Keith’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing over 35 years of experience, Keith joined Bank of America in 2002, and currently serves as a Senior Vice President/Advisor to his clients and prospects. He began his banking career at Chase Bank where he was most recently Vice President in West Michigan and Chicago. Throughout his banking career, Keith has served mid-sized companies throughout the West Michigan area to support their full line of commercial banking needs including credit, treasury, wealth management, 401K services, and financial wellness for companies and their employees.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Keith volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on ending hunger and homelessness, most recently with The Servant Center (focused on reaching the mentally ill homeless population in West Michigan) and Streams of Hope (where he serves on the finance committee as well as the capital campaign for this organization which is focused on building up healthy families, schools, and neighborhoods, leading to positive, sustainable change in our community, including a food pantry serving up to 500 families each month) as well as a just recently added medical clinic. He also has participated on several senior leadership employee focused groups within the Bank, including a current client advisory council.
Originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Keith graduated with a Business Administration Degree from Calvin College. He currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife and 3 children and recently added grandaughter. Keith enjoys travelling as well as gardening and many other outdoor activities.
