Profile

Kara Mann is a Business Banking Relationship Manager at Bank of America with 12 years of banking experience where she works to develop and enhance existing relationships with the bank as well as identify new growth opportunities.   Kara is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, hardworking person.  She works both in team environments as well as using her own initiative.  Kara's goal is to help her clients identify their financial goals by using the word 'SMART': (Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely) to help create and pursue actionable and realistic goals.  We want to be Specific about what the end goal is, how will we measure the goal, is it reachable/attainable, is it relevant to the success or future of the business, and can we accomplish it in a timely manner?

Kara is a member of Bank of America's Emerging Leadership team and continues to grow her network in the Buffalo Market.  Kara is also a member and pillar of LEAD for Women in Western NY. Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development (LEAD) for Women connects, develops and elevates women so they can excel within our company and in the communities we serve. 

Kara was born and raised in Eden, NY, home of the Eden Corn Festival.  She currently lives and resides in Hamburg, NY with her husband and soon to be son, along with her two golden retrievers, Benny and Dexter.  Kara earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Buffalo State University and began her banking career shortly after graduating.
