Julio Cuadrado-Ortega is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for Houston and the South Texas market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Julio’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing over 20 years of commercial banking experience, Julio worked at BBVA and Regions Bank and held roles in portfolio management, credit products, and relationship management for commercial and corporate banking. Julio has significant experience in credit loan structuring, asset based lending, and advisory for small and mid-sized businesses to help them with their commercial banking needs.

Julio is originally from Puerto Rico and is bilingual in Spanish. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with Majors in Finance and Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Julio volunteers in bank led events and is involved with various Hispanic/ Latino business organizations.

Outside of the office, Julio likes playing golf with his two boys and spending time with his family. He also enjoys cycling and scuba diving.
