Johnson O. Durojaiye is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Los Angeles South Bay market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Johnson’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

With over a quarter century of banking experience, Johnson joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Oct 2018.  Johnson began his banking career at Wells Fargo and Company, and he was most recently with Bank of the West, BNP Paribas as Vice President /Senior Lead Relationship in Greater Los Angeles area. Throughout his banking career, Johnson has served mid-sized companies in various industries including wholesale, manufacturing, distribution, service, import and export throughout the Southern California area to support their commercial banking needs, growth and strategic goals.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities, Johnson volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on financial literacy and affordable housing for the disabled. Most recently with Junior Achievement providing financial literacy to high school students in Los Angeles areas, and served as internal Corporate advocate/sponsor for H.O.P.E, an organization (Home ownership for personal empowerment) that creates stable affordable housing options for people with developmental disabilities.

 Long term resident of Rancho Palos Verdes where he resides with his family.  Johnson graduated with a B.Sc degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Finance from California State University, Long Beach and earned his MBA degree from Pepperdine University, Graziadio Business School.
