Jay Baydoun is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Southeast Michigan Business Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. With more than 20 years of practical business experience Jay leads a team of financial specialists who work to understand the needs of closely held businesses and their owners. By developing long-term relationships, his team is able to proactively provide strategic advice and customize integrated financial solutions - which in turn help clients achieve their overall strategic objectives. Including, but not limited to, working capital, equipment finance, strategic partnerships, and treasury managment solutions.Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch Jay held multiple positions in Business Banking at JPMorgan Chase. These positions ranged from working with Business Banking Clients to Managing a Small Business Banking team for the State of Michigan. He has also been a small business owner so he personally understands the ebbs and flows of the business cycle.
A Native of Michigan, Jay attended Michigan State University and graduated from Wayne State University with a Degree in Business Administration in 1998. He has also studied post graduate courses in Marketing, Banking, Accounting, and Economics.
He is married and a father of 2 young children. Jay has volunteered with numerous non-profits in SE Michigan, and sits on the Board of Directors of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion.
