Jason Stapleton is a Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager located in the Chicago, IL market. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Jason’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing 20(+) years of experience, Jason joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006. He has also served as Commercial Credit Portfolio Management Officer with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He began his banking career at JP Morgan Chase as a Credit Analysis in Chicago, IL. Throughout his banking career, Jason has served mid-sized companies throughout the Chicago, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin area(s) to support their commercial banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Jason volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on urban business and economic development, ending hunger and homelessness, most recently with Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, Inc. (ICIC) and local food banks. He also serves as a mentor for teammates within Bank of America as a member and leader in the Black Professional Group. 

Originally from Chicago, IL Jason Stapleton graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wonderful family.
