Gio Carranza is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Inland Empire market in Business Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Gio’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex. Gio and his team fulfill this mission by focusing on lending, deposits, and treasury management solutions to privately-held companies with annual revenues from $5 million to $50 million. Targeted industries and businesses include but not limited to wholesalers, manufacturers, professional, medical, and transportation services.
 
Bringing 15 years of experience, Gio joined Bank of America in 2022. He began his banking career within the retail branches, held multiple roles, including Branch Manager. He was most recently a Senior Business Relationship Manager in North Orange County at Chase Bank before joining the Inland Empire Bank of America Team.
 
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Gio has held Board roles with national Hispanic education organizations. In addition, he volunteered his time across the LA, Orange, and Riverside counties with not-for-profit organizations that focus on at risk youth, education advancement, and job preparation.
 
Originally from Mexico but raised in Los Angeles, Gio graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Cal State Fullerton then with a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University. Gio spends his weekends on the soccer field coaching both of his daughters.
