Profile

Gene Columbus is a Vice President and Sr. Relationship Manager for the Greater Mid-South Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Gene’s mission is to help companies in the Mid South achieve their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing 17+ years of experience, Gene has joined Bank of America in 2022. Gene has served mid-sized companies throughout Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi and supported their commercial banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Gene is on the lending committee at Communities Unlimited, and helps them achieve their goals of lending to the small business communities they serve.  In addition, he also serves at his local church in Collierville, TN.

Originally from Leland Mississippi, Gene graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Mississippi State University in 1991, and achieved an MBA from Delta State University in 1996. He and his family reside in Collierville, TN.
