Fernando Pástor is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the metro Chicago market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Fernando’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Fernando leverages the expansive resources of the firm to streamline businesses’ financial needs, addressing day-to-day issues and long-term initiatives. He seamlessly connects clients with experts to deliver a wide range of services, including credit, cash management, foreign exchange, equipment finance, merchant services, international banking and employer services, such as workplace financial wellness and 401k solutions. 

Fernando joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006. He has also served as Financial Center Manager, Treasury Services Advisor, and Commercial Analyst. Throughout his banking career, Fernando has worked with clients in the consumer, small business and middle market sectors across the Chicagoland area.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves. Fernando volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on providing upward mobility and financial literacy in lower income neighborhoods. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America and is the Co-Chair of the Hispanic/Latino Business Development Council. In addition, he is a trustee of the National Museum of Mexican Art.  

Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Fernando graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Illinois at Springfield and holds an MBA from DePaul University. He resides with his wife in Chicago, IL.
