Profile

Fausto Romero is an SVP and Senior Relationship Manager for Houston and the South Texas market in Commercial Banking. In this capacity, Fausto’s responsibilities include leading a team of specialists that are focused on understanding each client’s unique needs and deliver a wide range of integrated financial solutions, including lending, equipment finance, international trade services, cash management and foreign exchange. No matter how simple or complex, his mission is to help local companies thrive by delivering strategic financial guidance and solutions to achieve their business goals.

Bringing 20+ years of experience, Fausto re-joined Bank of America in 2016. He has held roles in middle market, large middle market and corporate banking, ranging from business development, product management, treasury management and relationship management. Throughout his banking career, Fausto has served mid-sized companies throughout the Houston area, to large corporate companies nationally, to support their strategic banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Fausto volunteers with his church and several not-for-profit organizations focused on children gaining proper medical attention, homelessness, and most recently with multiple agencies to help victims of human trafficking. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America.

Originally from Houston, TX, Fausto graduated with an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Houston.
