Eric Bauer is a Senior Vice President and Market Executive for the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts market in Business Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of Relationship Managers and specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs in order to effectively deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Eric’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.Bringing 36 years of experience, Eric joined Bank of America in 1986. He has also served as Bank of America’s Senior Risk Executive for Global Commercial Real Estate. In that capacity Eric and his team of risk professionals were responsible for risk assessment and management for all international and domestic Commercial Real Estate Banking activities, Real Estate Capital Markets, Gaming, Lodging and various real estate derivative products. Throughout his banking career, Eric has served mid-sized and large corporate clients from his offices in Hartford and New Haven, CT supporting their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Eric volunteers
with several not-for-profit organizations focused on affordable housing and small businesses development in low to moderate income areas throughout Connecticut most recently as a board member for HEDCo and the Waterbury Housing fund. Originally from Hamden, CT, Eric graduated with a BA in Economics and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate both from the University of Connecticut. He currently resides in Cheshire, CT.
