Ebony Gurndy is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Georgia Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Ebony's mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or complex.Bringing over 15 years of commercial banking experience, Ebony joined Bank of America in 2019. Before joining the team, Ebony worked directly with business owners in various industries advising them on financial and revenue growth strategies for their companies. Throughout her banking career, Ebony has served small to large sized companies across the Midwest and Southeast to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more equitable and prosperous future for the companies and communities she serves, Ebony volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations including Bethany Baptist Church where she serves as youth sports coach and the YMCA. She also volunteers as a Banking and Finance mentor for members of the Bossprenuer® network, an organization that is focused on helping Women-owned businesses reach the next level of success. As a former Board Member and Treasurer for the National Women’s MBA Association, Communities In Schools-Henry County and Board Chair for Stockbridge Main Street Advisory Board, Ebony has a passion for helping support economic development at all levels in the community.
Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Ebony graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science from Marquette University while being a 4-year scholarship recipient on the Women’s Basketball team. She pursued further education and completed her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. She resides in Duluth, Georgia with her husband and three daughters.
