Profile

Doug White is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Great Plains market in Business Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of banking specialists who develop deep understanding of clients’ businesses and proactively provide strategic advice to help them leverage banking solutions to grow and manage their business efficiently.

Doug brings more than three decades of diverse banking and business experience to the team. He began his career in 1989 with a predecessor to Bank of America, First Republic. After a break from banking, Doug helped his parents start up and run a construction company.  Doug returned to Bank of America in 2002 where he was on the consumer side. Although he enjoyed the consumer side of the bank, Doug followed his passion for business and joined the commercial bank in 2004 where he was able to help businesses similar to his parent’s. Throughout his banking career Doug has served small to mid-size companies in, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Missouri, and Kansas.

Growing up, Doug enjoyed farming in the panhandle of Texas. Doug attended Texas A&M at College Station to further his knowledge in agricultural business. In his senior year of college Doug changed his major and entered the University of Texas at Dallas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance  and began his banking career.

Doug and his wife currently live in Kansas City, MO where he volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focusing on education and the arts. Doug is a member of ACG, On the Board of Directors for The Downtown Council of Kansas City, and the Bank of America Employee Networks - Military Support and Assistance Group the Kansas City Chapter.
