Dean Bird is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Greater Atlanta Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions.  Dean’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.

Bringing 28 years of experience, Dean joined Bank of America in 1996.  He has also served on the Atlanta Market Leadership Team while in Small Business Banking, and has been a Area Executive for the Consumer Bank in Arizona, as well as, various other roles in Marketing and in our Customer Contact Centers.  Prior to Bank of America, Dean spent two years in the Retail Bank for Hunting Bancshares in Cleveland, OH.  Throughout his banking career, Dean has served small and mid-sized companies in Cleveland, Ohio; Arizona; and, Atlanta, Georgia to support their commercial banking needs.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Dean volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on children, ending hunger, and homelessness.  He serves Home of Hope at Gwinnett’s Children’s Shelter, Project Open Hand, and Habitat for Humanity among other local organizations.  He is also a mentor for teammates across Bank of America.

Originally from Canton, OH, Dean graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Economics from John Carroll University.  He resides in Acworth, GA.
