David Dowd is a Senior Relationship Manager for the Combined Coverage Commercial Banking team, a collaboration between Business Banking and Global Commercial Banking to deliver local coverage to businesses located throughout Western North Carolina. As a Senior Relationship Manager, he delivers strategic financial advice and solutions to companies throughout the region to grow, improve cash flow and invest for the future. He leads a team of dedicated financial specialists trained to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.

During his tenure at Bank of America, he has held several roles that included the Local Market Executive as well as Consumer Financial Centers placement that provided experiences such as: business integration, strategic planning, philanthropic solutions, bank operations, compliance, risk and regulatory oversight, while building brand and reputation. During his tenure as Local Market Executive, the Asheville market lead the enterprise in Delivering One Company for clients, associates, and communities in 2018 & 2019.

David is an active community leader through various organizations, committees, and volunteering with non-profits like Asheville Community Theatre, United Way of Asheville-Buncombe County, MANNA FoodBank, Habitat for Humanity, Serve to LEAD, and LEAF Global Arts. In his spare time, he enjoys spending it on his family’s multi-generational homestead that produces fruit trees and honeybees.
