Profile

Chu H. Yi is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Greater Washington DC Market in Business Banking Group at Bank of America.  In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions.  Chu’s mission is to help companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex. 

Bringing over 20 years of experience, Chu joined Bank of America in 2016. He began his banking career at Wells Fargo Bank, FKA First Union Bank where he was a Business Banker in Greater Washington DC Market.  Throughout his banking career, Chu has served small to mid‐sized companies in the Greater Washington DC Market as a trusted advisor.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Chu volunteers with several not‐for‐profit organizations focusing on early education.  He also serves as a mentor to teammates across Bank of America Enterprise and he spearheads Greater Washington DC Business Banking Team’s Business Integration efforts.  In addition, he serves on the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Government Contractors Awards Nomination Committee.

Chu graduated with a bachelor of art from the College of William and Mary and received Maters of Business Administration from the George Washington University with honors. Chu resides in Dunn Loring, Virginia with his wife and a daughter.
