Profile

Christian Floyd is an experienced Relationship Manager for Houston and the South Texas market in Commercial Banking. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists that are focused on understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering strategic financial guidance and banking solutions. Christian specializes in commercial & industrial lending, equipment finance, SBA, cash management, international trade services and foreign exchange. Christian's mission is to help local companies thrive and accomplish their business goals.

Christian joined Bank of America in 2022. Before his time as an analyst, he spent his first year out of college as a tax accountant. He began his banking career with Third Coast Bank SSB as a credit analyst supporting commercial clients. In 2018, Christian joined BBVA’s Emerging companies banking team as a commercial relationship associate where he supported 12 relationship managers with a total loan portfolio of $300MM. In 2020, Christian was promoted to an RM role with BBVA and held Relationship Management roles handling various industries. Throughout his banking career, Christian has served local and mid-sized companies throughout the Houston area to support their strategic banking needs.

Originally from the Dallas area, he currently lives in Houston since 1997. Christian graduated with an undergraduate degree in both Accounting & Finance with a minor in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. Christian also studied abroad at The London School of Economics in downtown London, UK. He spent his first two years of college playing Junior college baseball before transferring to Oklahoma State University. Additionally, Christian holds a commercial credit certification from the University of Downtown Business School.

To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Christian volunteers in bank led events and is involved with coaching at the Post Oak Little League.
