ProfileBen Trieu is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the San Diego market in Business Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, his responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Ben’s mission is to help local companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing 6+ years of experience, Ben joined Bank of America in 2015. He has also served as a Credit Analyst, Portfolio Management Officer, and Commercial Associate. He began his banking career at Bank of America where he was most recently a Commercial Associate in San Diego. Throughout his banking career, Ben has served mid-sized companies throughout the Southern California area to support their commercial banking needs.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities he serves, Ben volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations focused on basic financial education, homelessness, and environmental cleanup, most recently with HomeAid San Diego. He also serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America as a member and leader in the Asian Leadership Network and Bank of America Community Volunteers.
Originally from Cerritos, CA. Ben graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting from California State University of Long Beach. In his spare time, Ben enjoys every minute he can with his 3 year old daughter and lovely wife. He also loves to spend time with family and friends whether it be at a house get together or at the local billiards hall. Some hobbies that he enjoys are movies, snowboarding, traveling, discovering new delicious foods, and trying anything adventurous. He has gone skydiving and bungee jumping with his wife and is looking for the next big thing to do on his bucket list.
