Anthony Benintend is Vice President and Sr. Relationship Manager, Business Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Based in Carlsbad, CA, he is responsible for providing local delivery and personalized service to a portfolio of business banking clients that require financial solutions to help them grow, improve cash flow, manage U.S. and international payments, and invest for the future. In addition to being the primary point of contact and key financial advisor for the client, Anthony is also responsible for new business and retaining and deepening existing relationships.

A former “Big-4” Accountant and Financial Management Consultant, Mr. Benintend has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Investments making him an invaluable resource to businesses seeking customized banking products and services. He provides tailored solutions including credit and lending, deposits, and cash management to clients with annual revenues of over $5MM in North County San Diego.

Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he served large and middle market publicly traded and private closely held companies with enterprise system implementation, financial reporting, taxation and governance risk and compliance projects as a Management Consultant. He has also held leadership positions in San Diego with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and Booz Allen. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP in the Washington, DC office after serving as a Legislative Aide to the Committee on Ways and Means in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Anthony is a graduate of The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. He resides in Encinitas, CA. He previously served on committees for Finance Executives International (FEI) attends their monthly meetings.
