Alyssa Mediate is an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Western Pennsylvania market in Business Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, her responsibilities include leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Alyssa’s mission is to help companies thrive by achieving their business goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Bringing several years of experience in law and finance, Alyssa joined Bank of America in 2021. She began her career in the Commercial Services Division of First American Financial Corporation, as well as clerking with various transactional law firms and serving as a fellow for a premier fiscal-policy think tank. Prior to joining Bank of America, Alyssa was most recently with Merrill Lynch in Pittsburgh. Throughout her career, Alyssa has served mid- and large-sized companies throughout various states to support their commercial needs.
Alyssa is the Business Banking Environmental, Social, & Governance Ambassador in the Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania markets. In this capacity, she focuses on Net Zero, decarbonization, and clean energy initiatives as Bank of America plays a critical role in the acceleration and deployment of capital to address the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
She serves as a mentor for teammates across Bank of America as Chair for LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, Development) For Women in Pittsburgh, and sits on the Networking Committee of the Global Banking and Markets Women’s Leadership Council; Alyssa is also an Ambassador in Bank of America's Intergenerational Network.
Additionally, Alyssa is the Vice President of Philanthropy for the Alpha Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter of Pittsburgh where she supports Domestic Violence Awareness, and continues her commitment to supporting women through the United Way's Women's Leadership Council. Alyssa is also active in the Alumni Organizations of her almae matres, the Italian Sons & Daughters of America, Pittsburgh Opera New Guard, and 110+ Women Who Care - Pittsburgh. To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, Alyssa volunteers as a Civics Tutor with Literacy Pittsburgh, where she helps individuals achieve their dream of United States citizenship.
Alyssa is originally from the Greater Pittsburgh area; prior to receiving her Juris Doctorate, Alyssa graduated with a BBA from Northwood University, and is also an MBA Candidate. She resides in Wexford, Pennsylvania with her dog, Buddy.
